I eventually decided to approach him & followed him for two blocks. I never call from behind & so I went ahead and walked towards him & unsure of his reaction , asked if I could take his picture !! I thought he must be a NYC visitor from India!!!
He replied: 5 bucks!!!
Surprised and eager I said: for what?
Taking my picture he said!!
Ok, can you step and stand over here please ?
He wanted payment in advance and this I obliged and took my shots.
I asked : what’s your name ?
They call me Mr. Moses!!
& we parted.
The local Hispanic bystander who had witnessed all this said:
He must be a Rich man!! This is what he does all day!!
