Throw your TV away!

In 2000 I walked away from where I used to live, and left the TV ( in a rage ) behind. We now haven’t had a TV for 10 years!! Aside and in addition to giving up smoking ( though I love a fine cigar once in a while) it was one of the best things I had ever done. I now flick through channels when in hotel rooms on my travels!! Man…. I don’t miss anything. In the words of Roger Waters: 13 channels of shit on the tv to choose from!! Years later, I read a note from Groucho Marx: I find the invention of TV very educating, every time someone turns the TV on, I go next door and read a good book!! Which was what on my mind when I saw this TV in the window of a book store ( a lovely book store ) on Inman SQ, Cambridge MA.
